Privacy
Your answers go to the chef. Full stop.
The club runs on trust, so here is exactly what we collect, why, and what never happens to it.
What we collect
Only what you type: your forum's name, the organizer's name, email, and phone, your assessment answers, and the practical notes you choose to share so we can design safely and well, including dietary needs and anything you ask us to design around. We also keep a temporary, anonymized fingerprint of your connection to stop spam; it cannot be turned back into an address. Site analytics are cookieless and aggregate: we can see that pages were visited, not who visited them.
What we use it for
Two things: reading your application, and designing your retreat if the fit is right. The email address you give us receives a confirmation of your order and, if we proceed, the conversation about your trip. That is the entire program.
What never happens
Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or added to a marketing list. There is no newsletter you did not ask for, no drip sequence, no retargeting. No list, no drip, no menu.
Where it lives
Applications are stored encrypted at rest with our database provider (Supabase) and are readable only by the club's own server; the database accepts no direct public access. Transactional email is delivered through Resend. The site is served over HTTPS everywhere.
Share links and cookies
When you share your group's order, the link encodes your answers and, if you include it, your forum's name; it never contains contact information. Anyone holding the link can see the profile, so share it with your forum, not the world. Cookies are functional only: one keeps the chef signed in to the back room, and one remembers that you unlocked a trip page. There are no tracking cookies.
Seeing or deleting your data
Write to howdy@offmenuclub.com and we will show you what we hold or delete it, promptly and without ceremony.
Changes
If how we handle data changes, this page changes first. It was last updated August 2026 and covers offmenuclub.com.
